Field to Family Earth Week Fair

The Earth Week Fair was a great example of how planning and executing an event can foster community involvement and environmental awareness. I worked with a team of fellow students in the Event Management Certificate program at the University of Iowa to develop an immersive experience where attendees could learn about sustainability while having fun. Upon entering the event, attendees received a custom Field to Family tote bag and wristband. We created a dynamic fair featuring a range of activities, including educational booths on topics such as littering and sustainable farming. We also facilitated farmer meet & greets and had a pickling station with fresh produce available.
